It's spring and besides new green leaves, blossoms that bring fruit, and horses and dogs that are shedding like crazy, I'm deep in the middle of two new books.
My in-progress clean romance is centered in the world of trialing working cattle dogs, something I have wanted to write about for a while, but not had the time. My hero is a rancher and my heroine was a MP in the Air Force before she retired. Both have reasons to shun a relationship, but it takes a couple of Border Collies to bring them together.
The second book is a romance between a Federal judge's daughter and an outlaw biker. It's a little different from most of my books, but my hero is a cowboy riding a lot of horsepower. Mick and Laurel fight to find each other in a situation devoid of love. I promise a happy ever after ending to danger, disaster, and betrayal.
Speaking of disaster, my piles of books, papers and manuscripts grows every day - I might be heading toward a hoarder's end, but despite the mess, I love to play with words. At the moment, I'm laboring to write a one page synopsis of a 150,000 word book. I'll let you know if it works.
I'll have another blog ready for next month…happy reading, forever endings and cowboys to the end!
